Clear your day and lock it in – Three D Radio’s Top 93+7 Countdown is set to be a big one.

Counting down the 93+7 most played new releases of 2025, this all-day broadcast celebrates the music that mattered most on Three D Radio – championed, programmed and loved by our community of volunteers and listeners.

The countdown kicks off at 8:00am ACST on Saturday 31 January 2026, building momentum across the day to the reveal of the number one track sometime after 7:00pm.

Across the day, listeners can expect loads of live on-air interviews with South Australian bands and artists as their tracks appear in the countdown, alongside deep dives into the stories behind the songs, the scenes they came from, and what the chart means to the artists themselves.

Last year’s countdown reflected the strength of local and Australian music on Three D Radio:
• 82% local (South Australian)
• 95% Australian
• 5% international

Well-established local acts Sons of Zoku, friends of the station, took out the number one spot in 2025, following The Empty Threats, who claimed the top position the year before – reflecting the strength and consistency of South Australia’s independent music output.

Sonia Mir, Chair said the countdown offers a unique snapshot of what resonated most with listeners and programmers throughout the year.

“The Top 93+7 reflects the music that genuinely connected with our presenters and our audience over the past year. It’s shaped by what’s been played, supported and talked about on air – and it consistently highlights the depth of independent and local music coming through our library.”

This is more than a chart – it’s a full-day celebration of new music, local voices and community radio at its best.
